Welcome to The Tech Virtual Museum Workshop
Want to create your own museum exhibit? Want to develop it with other creative thinkers and experts around the world? Want to share your exhibits with visitors in virtual and real galleries? This is the place to design and prototype exhibits online, using the web and Second Life. Start here to propose exhibit projects, share wild ideas and prototype exhibits.
On this site, you can:
- browse, join, and create exhibit projects (from the orange "projects" tab, above)
- connect with other members (from the "members" tab, once you are logged in)
- prototype your projects with others in Second Life via this slurl to The Tech (see How to Get Started in Second Life)
All contributions to this site are shared under a Creative Commons Attribution license.
The best projects will be co-developed as physical exhibits at The Tech Museum. We are now inviting exhibits for the UcanTu exhibition about technology benefiting humanity. Seven virtual exhibits have already been selected for the Art Film and Music exhibition which will open June 4, 2008.
