LOOKING FOR HELP BUILDING IN SL I am looking for help in designing a dark room studio and for someone who knows about setting up video cameras that can link into a simple editing software.

Project for picturing a global state of humanity. Screen screen show a visual composition which is changing constantly. The changes are dependent on certain parameters that together represent the global “feel-good factor.” By looking at the screen, visitors will know the state of the humanity at any given moment.

To what extent has human body today, its physical properties which still resemble that of primates, changed under strong influence of sophisticated medicine and the simulacrum technology of human body? To what extent has the body actually become superfluous and expendable in the world of images proliferated by mass media, for example consequences of war and combat, natural catastrophes and accidents?

Project Inside counterpART
CounterpART is the combination or singularity of artwork, music, performance, creative or educational event that exists in both RL and SL. Many artists now create art and music for both worlds and "Inside counterpART" delves inside the concept of mixed reality arts by focusing on the interactions of technology, creativity, artist personalities, and creative processes of 6 live events and the people involved with them. This exhibition will be an innovative, interactive, and technological approach to understanding how virtual reality can be used to inspire and promote the creative expression of artists, musicians, and educators.
Project Artist in Residence - The Painter
To enable the audience to experience the role of the painter - through visual aids, animation and audio stream - to step into the shoes of the painter and 'paint' an existing painting by a real painter.

Project Connecting Point: Hole in (Virtual) Space
“Connecting Point” is a first life/second life live camera feed system that links a first life physical space to a second life location through two screens, one in second life and one in first life. The live camera feeds are set up to link the participants to complete goals and play games in and across the two areas.

Project Paper Cuts
Death is the other side of the coin of life. Artist often use humor to pay homage to love ones who passed by creating paper cut outs (papel picado) to help relatives and friends deal with the pain of loss. The use of negative and positive space to create an illusion also reinforces the notion that our views and life and death are two also negative and positive space that work together to create the illusion of self.
