The idea was to give a bug’s eye view of the guitar, which is entertaining in itself, and to emphasize some of the simpler harmonic concepts that go into playing by simplifying and enlarging them. Riding on the slide bar takes away the scholarly aspect of learning and replaces it with nuts and bolts enthusiasm. Yee-haaa! Our goal is to evolve this into an exhibit in which people can really get the emotional sense of playing a guitar, and or some understanding of the relationship between harmonics and music.
