By using a very humble set of 95 printable ASCII characters, artists around the world have been creating pictures, email footnotes and signatures, and even animations. This exhibit consists of a mosaic of picture frames on a wall, some with static pictures of ASCII art; some have alpha-numeric displays or computer screens behind them that constantly looping some ASCII animations. A couple of these picture frames will be linked with keyboards and user interfaces, allowing our visitors to create their own ASCII art and have fun.
