Prototypes

by Nina Simon last modified 2008-03-25 21:52

This page documents the creation of exhibit prototypes, both on the web and online.

First Prototype (March 3, 2008, Parkside Hall)

  • Goals:  To produce content and integrate them into the exhibit.  Test out the feasibility of using our FLASH content.
  • Outcome:  Created a rough prototype for the characters of interest.  Placed characters on the stage, developed scripts and protocols for rezzing animations on a stage (see Harold's protocols), added drafts of text blocks.

Second prototype (March 25, 2008, Parkside Hall)

  • Goals: To finalize graphical content, refine the overall exhibit design, and create templates for the web pages.  Implement the space-spacing ideas that our team has come up with.
  • Outcome:  Finalized and standardized characters for the exhibit, improved design, and created templates for the web pages.
