Walk-A-Thon Completed Installation by l garvie — last modified 2008-03-28 21:32
at first i missed the minimalist austerity of the first version's black box. but now i love the busy DIY feel of Walk-A-Thon. (minimalism just isn't me)
WAT Movie Camera by l garvie — last modified 2008-03-28 16:18
they're a bit old fashioned, but this time i made sure that the movie cameras could NOT be mistaken for lights.
WAT Building A Camera by l garvie — last modified 2008-03-28 16:22
i don't even remember how many prims the cameras were in total...
WAT Camera Detail by l garvie — last modified 2008-03-28 16:25
a small detail for those who are curious and good with their SL 'camera controls'
WAT Details, Details by l garvie — last modified 2008-03-28 16:31
from custom textures to enlarged pushpins, to knots in the string that holds the sign up pencil... minimalism has given way to make room for lots of detail
WAT More Detail ?!?! by l garvie — last modified 2008-03-28 21:35
speaking of details, what would a walk-a-thon be without smelly sneakers? of course, you can't actually smell anything in SL, but unlike RL, you can use particle effects to create visible fumes. :) (and... note that according to the visitor counter, there were 10 more visitors to my brand new exhibit this morning alone!!! The Tech is a GREAT showcase!)
