Discussion of ergonomic and electromechanical design of switches in the RL installation
Mark Lottor previously manufactured computer controlled christmas tree lights that would be perfect for this. Unfortunately, he reports they are no longer available.
If a suitable lighted industrial momentary modular switch body can be sourced, a custom acrylic actuator could be cast.
