These exhibits are related to laureates of The Tech Awards program (http://techawards.org). Highlighting
innovations of global impact that have been selected over the last
seven years in the Tech Awards program. The early concept name of the
exhibition was "UcanTu". Each exhibit will showcase an award-winning
technology from one of the following categories: Health, Education,
Environment, Economic Development, and Equality.

Virtual to-Real Test Zone Exhibits
This exhibition was the first created using The Tech Virtual
platform, and was installed at The Tech Museum in the Virtual Test Zone Gallery on June 4, 2008. Videos of the opening, along with more details about this innovative platform are available at: http://thetechvirtual.org/june-4-summit/keynotes-summit-on-digital-democracy-in-exhibit-design/.
These exhibits explore the science and technology behind art, film, and
music as well as exploring their creative processes. Some of the
exhibits may become part of the larger, "Creative Engines" exhibition

Virtual Museum Exhibits
The Tech Museum in San Jose California developed a virtual extension in the virtual world of Second Life (tm) which opened in 2007. The project encompasses 2 functions - a virtual museum with interactive online exhibits (Visit The Tech in Second Life), and an exhibit development workshop (Visit the exhibit workshop) (Requires download if not already installed). Part of The Tech Virtual project, developed with a grant from The Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation. The virtual museum houses over 20 interactive exhibits.
