Making a animated model of a freeplay radio (may be showing some of the internal gears and electronics..) and exposure for the project. provied a smaller wearable model as a freebee.

Project Description:
4 Freeplay Foundation http://www.freeplayfoundation.org/ http://www.techawards.org/about/global_humanitarian_award/2005/ Wind-up and solar powered radios creates sustainable -battery free- access to information.
People in Africa have access to the ambitious broadcast education projects.
SCHOOL
My plans are to make the freeplay radio in a large demo model where the inner gears and electrical components are shown.
Also a small model can be given away as a freebee.
May be if you click on it once it winds up the generator
(for the small model if possible with an avatar animation ( need help at that)
and if you click again the music starts to play (if possible.. might be a future nice to have)
also add some information about the project.. statistics.. etc.
Please provide me with input of any kind if you like to share it with me..

update:
After a bit of surfing the web to look for pictures, i found the following possibilities:
[1] Lifeline radio
pros:
is used a lot in africa, a lot of pictures with people using them
very recognisable
cons:
may not look best in sl, people should want to carry it around
dont have many pictures of the back of the radio ( the wind up mechanism)
(Please provide pictures of back if you have them)
inside is not visible...
(could modify the SL model a bit to see gears and electronics and rechargable batteries)
[2] Eyemax LED
pros:
nicer design for sl
extra LED light in rl, could be made in sl too
see through casing
cons:
not used on large scale in Africa like the real life Lifeline radio
[3] Scout power
same as eyemax, just not translucent and no radio.
[4] Sherpaxrayled
Only LED, but nice open veiw of guts. could use parts of this to put in the radio model.
