This exhibit showcases the work of the Light up the World Foundation, which provides low cost, sustainable lighting in rural areas in many countries. The exhibit details the technology behind WLED's and povides interactive applications of both pedal and solar powered models for visitors to 'light up'. This exhibit also includes a large scale model of an LED so we can see the components that create it. It also outlines the benefits to communities of the Foundation's work including health, education and commerce.
